Purn Prathamik Jeevan shikshan vidhyamandir, Jakimirya, I first came across the lyrical poems. In this school, I enjoyed the listening of lovely Marathi songs like Aaj gokulat rang khelto hari , in Dasrotsav program. In the eighth standard in New English School, Jaitapur, I heard classmates like Ravikant Rumade and Kalidas Ambolkar singing the lyrics, in 1973-75 golden period of my life. In my college days, I used to pick up local boys and took them for the musical programs in the Ratnagiri city. Later, I got job and could afford to take them for singing competitions .
