Extending the story of my grandmother

Let's continue....  My family has a story too ! Friends, you know that every family has a story and you also know that my family has a story too ( of course you don't , that is why I am telling you 😀😀😀! ) !  In fact,  in   my last post  , you read that my grandma's brother brought her to our homeland. Thank you for reading that part.  Now let's go ahead. This time,  I am extending the story of my grandmother.   My Courageous Grandmother         The very first thing I tell you about her is , she had no happiness in her whole life.  Still she fought her way bravely. She had the courage to tolerate every bad incident. She was very simple in nature.  Very kind  ! At the same time,  she was firm too !  As you read in the previous story of my grandfather,  my grandmother's brother brought her and my father from Mumbai to our homeland.  There she lived in her brother's house.  She was hard worker and her relatives gave her work to water the mango

Every family has a story

Friends,   every family has a story. I know friends that you love your family.   You know many things about your family.  You tell few things about your family and you don't tell few things about your family . Everybody does this.  We all have special place in our mind for our families . Every family has a story.  My family has it too !   I am going to tell you many things about my family because they are the part of dehdays   ! Let's start from my grandfather.  My Grandfather :             Everybody is not lucky to see his or her grandparents.  I am half lucky . I could see my grandmother.  I couldn't see my grandfather, but I came to know from my grandmother about him.  I can't go beyond my grandfather as I don't know about the previous generations or I am not able to recollect that information if my grandmother had told me. My grandfather was a cotton mill worker in Mumbai.  I am telling you friends about my grandfather especially because he had a very strange h

Stormy starting of life journey

S tormy starting in Deogad My dear friends,  this is the starting of my life story.  I call it stormy starting as I met the life's first storm when I was just 7 months old  ! Then onwords, my lifestyle has bacome stormy ! In those days, my father was in Government service.  At that time,  his posting was at Deogad , in old Ratnagiri District.  Now it is in Sindhudurg District. One day, a cyclone came. As the storm increased its speed,  part of the roof  collapsed over my cradle.  When my parents removed it,  they found me safe  ! They must have been relieved ! I was not aware about what was going on,  but nothing had happened to me  ! I was alive  ! My parents must have thanked the God ! That was my first meeting with the storm !  Next time,  I will tell you more about storms in Dehdays : my life story  ! The second storm So that was my first handshake with the stormy weather  ! Point is that I didn't experience it ! 😆 What about second ...? The second meeting was fixed an

A ray of hope

Hard days  Since March 2020 , it was really hard for dehdays.  There are tensions in life as we are far away from our son in these days of Corona virus pandemic.  He can't cook his daily meals and he has learnt to manage it anyhow, within the last few months. His mother gives cooking instructions on mobile and he cooks a accordingly. We are not able to know how tasty the food becomes. We are not able to eat properly as we keep on thinking what he is eating there , how he is living lonely there . We are worried about him. He has to do his office work plus his home work. Both way it is work from home for him !  Due to corona virus we are not able to go to Pune to stay with him.  A Turning Point  .... ?    But it looks now that there is a ray of hope . Government has permitted now to move to the other districts . So we can go there in coming ten to fifteen days. Turning point is ahead. Our son was living lonely on the second floor as his neighbour had gone to his home at In

Our Residing story continues

We are NEW Here ! Everything is new to us.  As you know friends that we had been shifted to a new city and you also came to know about our flat owner,  his family and our neighbors.  This has been told in my post  Journey to the new city  As we have come here we have to face few new problems as a newcomer. Here is a list of some problems that we have to face with  :                 Everything  is new .        The people,  the area, the surroundings, the market , the shop owners , the flat itself and the lack of some common facilities in the flat , etc.  As everything is new , one has to read everything carefully.  Even you have to guess and judge the people coming into your contact. This is the most difficult and testing time for every newcomer in any new area. So you have to study , experience and implement as per the situations.                          2. Locality and its mentality .                   You have to see your surroundings very carefully.  Few things are ve

Terrifying dreams

06.05.2020 Hello readers, we are closely looking the days of corona virus pandemic through the eyes of an Indian village. Let me start from the date 04.04.2020, where we have left yesterday. In my lovely village too the people have become irresponsible. They are not following the social distance formula in the local fish market. Again , people from city are also rushing as the fish market is shut down in city. The outsiders are increasing the corona virus danger. Nobody is complaining. Nobody is looking at it seriously. Even in big cities like Mumbai, Pune , Surat the people are still gathering on the streets. Professor Kerkal who was a Principal in Government Polytechnic here called me on 05.04.2020 and spoke about this surprising behaviour of people. We talked about more than an hour.           On 06.04.2020 afternoon, I was lying after lunch , I had a strange dream. A fully naked huge man was tied by big chains , seated in a wooden chair. It was a big jungle area with greenery

The corona virus days

Corona virus outbreak reported in December 2019 in Wuhan city of China. I wrote an article on my blog ' breaking news ' on 07.02.2020 , named Corona virus : the mass killer ! I wrote it particularly after the death of Dr. Lee Wenliang . The link is here.  Corona virus the mass killer  Then onwards I wrote one more article on this blog on 25th March , 2020, named Corona and the Indian people. The link is here. On 22 March , 2020 , the one day lock down was announced in India. At 8 PM on 24th March , 2020 the carfu was announced from the midnight upto further 24 days. The people started to leave the big cities like Pune and Mumbai to their villages. Thousands of laborers tried this. Few started their journey on feet to overcome the distance of even four hundred kilometers ! Nobody was in a mood to listen to the politicians' appeals , even though the appeals were right. Many modern blind followers ( andh bhakt ) tried to laugh at the great Mahatma Gandhi , but people o

Please tell the world

Please tell the world  Man thinks , but... Man thinks one way, happens another. I have experienced it many times. What dreams I had seen when I was a boy ! I planted a coin under the mud and waited for the money tree . The money tree was never there , but my parents were angry with me when they came to know my plan ! This was the starting. I think many of us do have the same experience. Like this , I have tried to plan one thing and resulted in something else. I planned to go to ITI to take practical industrial training to become an industrialist but could managed to go to college to get only learning the books. Again , I wanted to go to Arts faculty and actually I was admitted in Commerce faculty , because my mother wanted as my elder cousin was a commerce student ! So I completed my graduation in Commerce. I again wanted to be a businessman, but considering the conditions, instead of that I had to go after the job search ! Then job search started. I gave many interviews,

A surprise for me

I am really surprised.... It is a different day on the worrying background of corona virus pandemic . I take it as a good sign and hope that the cruel days of corona virus can be stopped now. Thanks Mr. Yasinji Patel and his friends  ! Also thanks to my Facebook friends who have expressed their love and affection for me. Here is a link of that Facebook page where I first saw it.... A surprise for me

Corona : the unfortunate aspect

is spreading in India.             Here in India,  corona is spreading.  Unfortunately,  in some big cities,  the people are acting as nothing is happening.  It is strange that they are rushing into markets,  making traffic jams and so on.  Clapping for the actually fighting people from the homes is understandable,  but  crowding at this critical time means increasing the risk.  People actually went on the roads,  hit the drums,  danced and even there were firecrackers ! This is madness.  Now we are in the no politics,  no religion state  ! Everybody must be in the house to safeguard all.  Nobody should help the corona  !             Doctors and the medical staff are on the front fighting with hugest and highest spirit  ! They are putting everything  ! At least,  we can pray for them from our houses  !  The government staff is appealing continuously not to come on the roads and obey the rules.  This is not the time to play political games.  The media reporters are ri

JOURNEY TO THE NEW CITY

Generally, there should not be any transfer after retirement . But in a particular way , I have one ! I retired from the Government service before a year. During this period I was at home. Relaxed ! Relaxed , as there would not be any transfer . While in service, the fear of transfer was in mind after every sixth year . In every January , the higher authorities were asking the information regarding the transfers. This year I had no such fear at all ! In fact, I had nothing to do with this ! Ha, ha, ha , I was enjoying it this year ! So I was damn relaxed ! But to my surprise , I had to leave my home town and move to another city. 350 kms away ! The 350 kms are also too much for a person who does not like transfer ! I had to move there in February but the preparations were started in January, exactly in the month of calling information of transferable persons in the service. So I felt like I am still in service and transferred again ! It was again the January

But,  after sometime,  it was difficult to adjust to the somewhat relaxed schedule. Weight slightly increased. That gave some trouble.  Obviously went to Doctor.  Almost a week at the expenses. Now getting well. Meanwhile I looked afte
