On the verge of family break up

In the mid July 2020 Let's see what happens next ... that was a line I wrote a year before. It was a ray of hope I said in the previous post. The next three days are like this : The ray of hope extended a bit and it resulted in  the coming home of my son. We were glad He came in mid July 2020 and since then working from home. It is nice as you have thought and it is indeed nice to be with family, but there is something strange and sad in it too, which is still happening in my family. This whole period we have been undergoing tension almost every day ! The son must be asking himself, " where am I ? " and we both are asking " why this is so " ? !  On the verge of family break up      We have been a silent and happy family. We were together in almost everything. But this time, during the whole year, we are facing a threat to our United family. Our son has changed. A good boy has changed. Still he loves us  , but unfortunately something has stood among u...

Extending the story of my grandmother

Let's continue....  My family has a story too ! Friends, you know that every family has a story and you also know that my family has a story too ( of course you don't , that is why I am telling you 😀😀😀! ) !  In fact,  in   my last post  , you read that my grandma's brother brought her to our homeland. Thank you for reading that part.  Now let's go ahead. This time,  I am extending the story of my grandmother.   My Courageous Grandmother         The very first thing I tell you about her is , she had no happiness in her whole life.  Still she fought her way bravely. She had the courage to tolerate every bad incident. She was very simple in nature.  Very kind  ! At the same time,  she was firm too !  As you read in the previous story of my grandfather,  my grandmother's brother brought her and my father from Mumbai to our homeland.  There she lived in her brother's...

Every family has a story

Friends,   every family has a story. I know friends that you love your family.   You know many things about your family.  You tell few things about your family and you don't tell few things about your family . Everybody does this.  We all have special place in our mind for our families . Every family has a story.  My family has it too !   I am going to tell you many things about my family because they are the part of dehdays   ! Let's start from my grandfather.  My Grandfather :             Everybody is not lucky to see his or her grandparents.  I am half lucky . I could see my grandmother.  I couldn't see my grandfather, but I came to know from my grandmother about him.  I can't go beyond my grandfather as I don't know about the previous generations or I am not able to recollect that information if my grandmother had told me. My grandfather was a cotton mill worker in Mumbai.  I am telling y...

Stormy starting of life journey

S tormy starting in Deogad My dear friends,  this is the starting of my life story.  I call it stormy starting as I met the life's first storm when I was just 7 months old  ! Then onwords, my lifestyle has bacome stormy ! In those days, my father was in Government service.  At that time,  his posting was at Deogad , in old Ratnagiri District.  Now it is in Sindhudurg District. One day, a cyclone came. As the storm increased its speed,  part of the roof  collapsed over my cradle.  When my parents removed it,  they found me safe  ! They must have been relieved ! I was not aware about what was going on,  but nothing had happened to me  ! I was alive  ! My parents must have thanked the God ! That was my first meeting with the storm !  Next time,  I will tell you more about storms in Dehdays : my life story  ! The second storm So that was my first handshake with the stormy weather  ! Point is that I...

A ray of hope

Hard days  Since March 2020 , it was really hard for dehdays.  There are tensions in life as we are far away from our son in these days of Corona virus pandemic.  He can't cook his daily meals and he has learnt to manage it anyhow, within the last few months. His mother gives cooking instructions on mobile and he cooks a accordingly. We are not able to know how tasty the food becomes. We are not able to eat properly as we keep on thinking what he is eating there , how he is living lonely there . We are worried about him. He has to do his office work plus his home work. Both way it is work from home for him !  Due to corona virus we are not able to go to Pune to stay with him.  A Turning Point  .... ?    But it looks now that there is a ray of hope . Government has permitted now to move to the other districts . So we can go there in coming ten to fifteen days. Turning point is ahead. Our son was living lonely on the second floor as his n...

Our Residing story continues

We are NEW Here ! Everything is new to us.  As you know friends that we had been shifted to a new city and you also came to know about our flat owner,  his family and our neighbors.  This has been told in my post  Journey to the new city  As we have come here we have to face few new problems as a newcomer. Here is a list of some problems that we have to face with  :                 Everything  is new .        The people,  the area, the surroundings, the market , the shop owners , the flat itself and the lack of some common facilities in the flat , etc.  As everything is new , one has to read everything carefully.  Even you have to guess and judge the people coming into your contact. This is the most difficult and testing time for every newcomer in any new area. So you have to study , experience and implement as per the situations.           ...

Terrifying dreams

06.05.2020 Hello readers, we are closely looking the days of corona virus pandemic through the eyes of an Indian village. Let me start from the date 04.04.2020, where we have left yesterday. In my lovely village too the people have become irresponsible. They are not following the social distance formula in the local fish market. Again , people from city are also rushing as the fish market is shut down in city. The outsiders are increasing the corona virus danger. Nobody is complaining. Nobody is looking at it seriously. Even in big cities like Mumbai, Pune , Surat the people are still gathering on the streets. Professor Kerkal who was a Principal in Government Polytechnic here called me on 05.04.2020 and spoke about this surprising behaviour of people. We talked about more than an hour.           On 06.04.2020 afternoon, I was lying after lunch , I had a strange dream. A fully naked huge man was tied by big chains , seated in a wooden chair. It was a b...
